Report by Howard Myers
Jesse Peterson was born and raised on a plantation in Alabama. In spite of having experienced segregation while growing up he says “I still love being an American and I thank God I am an American.”
Many people thought having a black president would make America less racist but under Bush 30% of black Americans thought the US was racist ,but under Obama 60% now think the US is racist.
Rev. Peterson believes most black Americans are suffering not because of racism but from lack of moral character. The government provides incentives to break up the family by not providing benefits unless there is no father in the home.
