Speaker Series2009 - Speaker Series February - Dr. Brian T, Kennedy September - Dr. Francis J. Harvey Previous Years Jesse Lee PetersonNovember 2009
Jesse Lee Peterson was welcomed warmly to The Conservative Forum meeting on November 3rd. An overflow crowd of more than 240 people cheered and laughed at Jesse's remarks. He mixed humor, facts and his opinions into a warm and meaningful message. Jesse discussed in depth the damage that the federal government has done to the black community. He said that the government has become the "daddy" in black families. 70% of black children in the United States are born out of wedlock (80% in Indiana). Jesse pointed out that 1500 black fetuses are aborted every day in America. Black-on-black crime is staggering. Young blacks are angry at their parents, and they are taught that white racism is the core of their problems. Jesse firmly stated that racism is not the primary problem in black America. Jesse also told us about the government-run health care facilities in the inner cities are out of control. He warned that if we have universal health care that the health delivery system in the United States will become ghettoized. He emphasized that the black problems, especially in the inner cities, are not caused by racism, but by lack of moral character. Jesse referenced the recent incident where 62,000 stood in lines for "Obama welfare checks." Contrary to what the blacks are taught, the less government in one's life, the better off everyone will be. Return to Speaker Series |
