Richard Geno – President

As president of The Conservative Forum, Richard provides general oversight of the organization working with each of the board and executive committee members.  Richard is great at encouraging attendance at our monthly general meetings, as well as, organizing and steering monthly board meetings.  In addition to his duties as president, Richard is active in the Media Committee, BACORP (college outreach program), and submitting letters to the editor in coordination with the Writers group.

Richard was instrumental in taking the Townhall Meetup from a causal gathering of conservatives to a member supported organization in order to:

  • Change the political environment of Silicon Valley from a rubber stamp Democrat/liberal-leaning community to a more rational conservative leaning community.
  • Change the dangerous liberal media bias.
  • Encourage free speech on college campuses after decades of socialistic and communistic orthodoxy that has been intolerant to all but leftist beliefs.
  • Show support for the United States and the West in the war on terrorism.
  • Support the country of Israel as the left espouses a moral equivalency between a country of 5 million people defending itself against 220 million neighbors who want to see it shoved into the Mediterranean.
  • Reduce the size of all governments in the United States.
  • Encourage enforcement of the current immigration laws in the United States.

Richard has been involved in many community, industry, athletic and church-related organizations and has been president of 12 other associations and groups.  He is a life coach helping people achieve their goals, whether they be personal, career, health or financial…or just encouraging people to take more free time and have more fun. His hobbies include reading, running, baseball, history, politics, world travel, writing, public speaking, real estate and visiting with family members.
