Rohit Joy - Treasurer

As Treasurer of the Conservative Forum, Rohit is responsible for overseeing the organization’s finances and maintaining its nonprofit status.  He joined the Forum because it provides the opportunity for him to hear from nationally-known conservative speakers each month and meet like-minded individuals in the Bay Area.

Rohit first became involved in the conservative movement as a student at UC Berkeley, where he received his undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Economics in 2008. 

While a student, Rohit worked to counter the constant drumbeat of liberalism on campus as Publisher of the California Patriot, one of America’s best known conservative student publications, and an active member of the Berkeley College Republicans, the school’s largest political club.

Rohit regularly volunteers for local, regional, and statewide Republican campaigns and conservative causes.  In addition to being Treasurer of the Forum, Rohit is:

• Internal Vice Chairman, California Young Republicans of Silicon Valley
• Delegate and Platform Committee Member, California Republican Party
• Alternate Member, Santa Clara County Republican Central Committee
• Former Member, Alameda County Republican Central Committee (2005-2008)

Professionally, Rohit is a tax consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and is working to achieve his CPA. He lives in San Jose.
