Our March, 2008 meeting represented our largest attended non-Special Event in the history of The Conservative Forum. Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, drew 135 attendees. Tom lived up to the attraction. As president of Judicial Watch for ten years, he convinced one-and-all that Judicial Watch is one of the most important organizations in the United States.
First, Tom discussed the vast corruption of politicians, indicating that Hillary Clinton is the most corrupt politician in the United States in more than a century. In every campaign the Clintons have run - going back to the Arkansas days - they have violated election laws. They then return the money to the contributors when they get caught. Tom highlighted many examples.
Secondly, Tom discussed illegal immigration, amnesty, the porous borders with Mexico, and sanctuary cities. On the latter topic, federal law is broken every day in the dozens of sanctuary cities throughout America. Linked to illegal immigration, Tom talked quite a bit about the North American Union, with special emphasis on the secrecy of the meetings held between the leaders of Canada, Mexico and the United States.
