The media committee’s objective is to get the conservative viewpoint out and reach more people. To educate the public about conservatism, we need to work with local newspapers editors, talk radio hosts, etc. If possible we would like to try to get more of the conservative perspective in print, both in Letters to the Editor and Commentary, and try to influence choices of coverage by reminding the editors there is another audience out there. We want to hear the good news, too.

Never having been political or an activist, I joined the Conservative Forum when it was still a Townhall Meetup group. It was about time for me to stop being a part of the silent and passive majority. This group shared my ideas and values and showed signs of doing something constructive about them.

Am a lifelong homemaker with two grown children and enjoy outdoor sports including skiing, hunting and biking.

• Bush Team ‘04--Precinct walks, telephone banks, voter registration

• Association of Republican Women--A group that promotes Republican principles and locates and promotes conservative candidates

• Santa Clara County Republican Party

• Conservative Forum’s Writer’s Group
