Guest Speaker:  Caleb Duke

Caleb Duke Speaking at The Conservative Forum

On loan from the United States Navy, Caleb Duke provided a very stimulating and inspirational two-standing-ovation presentation. He is presently assigned to the Pentagon and resides with his Nuclear Submarine group in Connecticut. The theme of his talk was "Why we Fight."

While very humble, Caleb had a chest full of shiny medals (not just ribbons), including the Bronze Star presented by the US Army for valor above and beyond the call of duty. We managed to get him to tell the story of the firefight that he survived, repelled the enemy, enabled his group, including the wounded, to escape to safety.

His main assignment over there was to give aid to Afghan towns and families who had borne the brunt of the war against the terrorists. He volunteered for this experimental organization designed by the Pentagon. He first had to undergo infantry training by the US Army. He was top in his class and received the Army Medal of Achievement EVEN before he set foot in the Middle East.
